FAQs

I pay for perpetual care, why do I need a separate grave tending service?

Perpetual care pays for upkeep, maintenance and repair of the cemetery grounds. Family members are responsible for the headstone and keeping the gravesite clean.

What if the cemetery has restrictions?

We check your cemetery’s rules and regulations before we place any flowers or items at the gravesite. We will inform you of any limitations that may impede on your request.

I haven’t been able to visit the gravesite for a long time. I’m not sure if it is in disrepair or in need of cleaning.

We will notify you immediately if there are any condition problems. You will also be able to view the headstone or marker in the before and after pictures we take during each visit.

Will cleaning my headstone cause damage?

We abide by a do no harm ideology. While cleaning your gravesite we only use non-ionic, biodegradable cleaners, soft bristle brushes, sponges and a low water pressure system. We will always do a thorough inspection on a headstone before proceeding with cleaning to ensure it’s integrity.

Do you only clean headstones?

We are able to transfer our skills from cleaning headstones to cleaning other stone features including stone signs, pillars, monuments, sculptures and residential stone landscaping.

What do you deliver?

We can deliver fresh floral arrangements, potted plants, wreaths, cards, photos, keepsakes, or other items you request.

Can you deliver a message for me?

When we visit a gravesite as part of a care plan or floral delivery we can read a verbal message, a poem, or a prayer. We also deliver written messages that will be kept private in a sealed envelope.

How do payments work?

Annual care plans may be paid in full at the time of contract signing or billed on a quarterly basis. All other plans and flower deliveries must be paid in full within 5 days of receiving invoice.

Payments can be made by personal cheque, cash or interac e-transfer.

*a $45 NSF fee will be charged to any returned cheque.
